If you go plant-based for a year..

Meat has an extremely high negative environmental impact compared to plants! The amount of CO2 eq emissions from 1 kg of beef equals emissions from driving a medium passenger car for 100-240 km

According to the World Health Organization, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes and nuts have to be the major part of a diet. One has to eat 5 servings of vegetables and fruits per day. The red meat consumption should be limited to 1-2 times per week!  

Industrial livestock farming is a issue of debates all around the world. It is a source of cruelty towards animals, and mentally challenging working conditions for slaughterhouse workers
